Kasey Munn, MSW, RSW

Meet Kasey!

I offer counselling to adults, including youth and young adults ages 16+. I am a Registered Social Worker and Canadian Certified Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner (CC-PMH) who supports individuals across life stages, including those navigating the transition to parenthood, as well as youth and young adults.

Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, self-compassion, and mindfulness, my approach to counselling is, at its core, relational. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I deeply appreciate that every person’s journey is unique, shaped by their own strengths, values, and experiences.

Life transitions—whether stepping into parenthood or navigating adolescence and early adulthood—can feel vulnerable, overwhelming, and, at times, isolating. You may find yourself holding competing emotions: joy alongside uncertainty, hope alongside self-doubt. Together, we can create space to explore these experiences and support you in reconnecting with yourself in a meaningful and compassionate way.

For those in the perinatal period, I understand how raw and demanding this stage can be. As a mom of two little ones, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of new motherhood—learning to trust my instincts, balancing care for my children with care for myself, and navigating it all through exhaustion and change. I am also accredited in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC), an evidence-based approach to infant sleep and early development. I integrate this work with my mental health practice to support both infant sleep and parent wellbeing—helping families find sustainable, responsive rhythms that align with their baby’s biology.

You deserve the same tending to and care that you give to others and I hope through our time together, you can get in touch with a new sense of self-compassion, acceptance and connection.

If you’re new to therapy or simply want to see if it’s the right fit, you’re invited to book a complimentary 15-minute virtual meet and greet. This is a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity to ask questions, learn more about Kasey’s approach, and get a feel for working together before committing to a full appointment.

Supervised by a Registered Social Worker. Services may be eligible for insurance reimbursement under Registered Social Work. Direct billing is available.
