For you, the birthing mama, to be fully present and connected to your experience, trust your courage and strength, and make decisions that feel right. We are committed to helping you feel supported, loved, and proud of your birth, no matter how you bring your babe into the world. You are deserving of deep love and respect for the strength, courage, and wisdom it takes to bring a baby into the world. We aim to help partners feel confident in their role as a support person, and feel connected to the experience as a proud partner and parent. Ideal for parents-to-be planning a hospital or home birth.

This course is popular and tends to fill up 4-6 weeks before a date, so plan to register early.
WAITLIST: If your first choice of date is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist free of charge, and then book yourself into your second choice of date. If a spot opens up, we will contact you and remove you from the other date.

Our classes are small and intimate, which allows participants to guide the conversation to meet their specific needs. Topics covered in the course include:
exploration of personal beliefs, assumptions, and fears that could interfere with having the best possible birth experience
signs & stages of labour
common medical interventions and alternatives
caesarean birth
practices that can reduce pain, fear, and distractions – such as breathing techniques, visualization, positive mind-set, positions for labour & birth, and other comfort measures.

We have a few options to meet your needs and schedule including a 1-day in-person course (small group), 3-part virtual course, and a private option.

Yes. Every course covers the same content, regardless if it’s a small group setting, virtual, or private.

We recommend taking the course late second trimester or early third, but it’s completely up to you! Our 1-day courses are small and our most popular option. We recommend registering early to save your spot.

Group, full-day class is $225+ HST = $254.25
Private courses are $275 + HST = $310.75
Private courses are offered in home or at Rebirth.

Individuals and couples love our Prenatal Breastfeeding along with Newborn Care 101. Push Prep is also a very important and practical guide to the pushing phase of labour. Expectant parents love it. It’s offered in person and privately (extended health care plans often cover the cost since a Registered Physiotherapist offers the course!)

You may cancel 24+ hours in advance to receive an account credit to use for any future class or course at Rebirth. If you need to change the date of your course we would be happy to move you to a different class date.
