Psychoeducational Assessments

Are you worried about your child's ability to do well in school? Do you feel some testing could help you understand your child’s learning abilities more so that you can support them.

The results of a Psychoeducational Assessment will give you practical recommendations to support learning at home and school. You will get a written report that can assist with the development of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Not sure where to begin? Book an initial consultation with Dr. Elizabeth Thornley, Child Psychologist to get started today.

Acupressure Scalp Massage

Acupressure scalp massage combines the principles of acupressure and massage therapy to stimulate specific points on the scalp to promote relaxation, alleviate stress, and improve circulation.

Acupressure scalp massage is often done alone but can also be combined with essential oils or other relaxation techniques to enhance its benefits. It's a popular wellness practice for promoting mental well-being, easing tension, and supporting overall health.

*Acupressure scalp massage can be offered as a separate treatment and does not need to be accompanied by cupping.

Who We Help

We support children and youth aged 10 to 18 who may be experiencing:

  • Anxiety, worry, or stress

  • Depression or low mood

  • School or peer difficulties

  • Family transitions (divorce, loss, relocation)

  • Emotional regulation and anger

  • Self-esteem and identity concerns

Parents and caregivers are essential partners in a child’s healing process. We work collaboratively with families to ensure consistent, compassionate support—both in and outside of sessions.

  • Play-based therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Narrative therapy

  • Mindfulness and self-regulation strategies

  • Trauma-informed care

All sessions are age-appropriate, strengths-based, and centered on building trust and emotional safety.
