This three-session group support program is led by Kate Tiano - Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). The program offers support for parents whose children experienced NICU stays or extended post-birth hospitalizations.
This is an opportunity for parents who have navigated the challenges of NICU stays or extended post-birth hospitalizations to join a supportive and understanding community. The group provides a dedicated space for parents to connect, share experiences, and find strength together.
Whether your child's hospital stay lasted a few days or several months, Kate approaches each family with genuine empathy and a deep commitment to creating a safe and supportive space. She understands the anxieties, uncertainties, and emotional toll this experience can take, and she is passionate about helping parents navigate these challenges with resilience and strength.

Kate Tiano is a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) and a compassionate mother of two, dedicated to providing unwavering support to parents who have faced the unique challenges of extended hospital stays with their newborns. Her journey deeply informs her work; her 6-year-old daughter spent a significant amount of time in the hospital after birth due to a genetic condition. This experience has given Kate a profound understanding of the emotional and practical difficulties parents encounter during such times.
