Naturopathic Medicine is a system of health care that merges evidence-based traditional therapies with modern medicine. Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are experts in natural medicine and lifestyle medicine, and use a variety of non-pharmaceutical therapies to address acute and chronic concerns.

NDs are trained as primary care practitioners, well versed in physical examination, medical diagnostics, and laboratory medicine. NDs offer routine exams such as PAP tests and gynecological exams, annual physicals, and well-child checkups. Visit the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors website at www.cand.ca to learn more about Naturopathic Medicine in Canada.
