Meditation for Pregnancy & Birth
Being pregnant is a time filled with a mix of emotions: excitement, joy, happiness, but perhaps also anxiety, fear, and stress. All of these feelings are perfectly understandable. There are so many unknowns. As you enter this new season of life, be assured you can enter it with a sense of peace and calm, feeling confident, and knowing you have within you the ability to birth your baby, and be a wonderful mom.
We live in a culture in which birth is often surrounded by fear and negativity. By focusing on the experience as YOUR birth, YOUR experience, and influenced by YOUR choices, you can feel empowered to have an enjoyable pregnancy and your birth. Connect to the emotional and mental aspects of birth, and be a strong, capable birthing woman.
Class starts with a discussion and then a guided meditation. Journals will be provided for writing if you so choose.
Dates: The first Sunday of each month from 10:00 to 11:00 am
Price: $5 per person (HST included), or use your 8-class pass. Can also be used as a make-up class from other prenatal yoga.
